Army Pics

Selling the Wolves :(

Yup. After over a year of playing space wolves, I've decided to retire the army from my collection. Why? I've realized that I have to be asleep at the wheel while playing to lose with them. Wolves are just too good to be any fun for me, from the start of the game you can have your opponent outmatched, and any competent general can use this leverage to pull out nonstop wins.

That, and this will allow me to divert funds into an army that is underrepresented in the area. I just need an army to keep me interested in the game until the return of the Tau. I recently picked up the Dark Eldar codex, so I may give them a try. Word around the internets is that they are an army that requires actual tactics and finesse, so hopefully I'll be able to learn something from playing them.

This was my stubby Wolf Priest conversion. Came out very good, in my opinion.

This is Heihachi in power armour. Fits into rhinos better now.

Back online!

Coming up on summer again, and I now have plenty of time to work on Warhammer related projects. Comments on desired content is welcome, and I do have some pics of painting projects incoming.

I figured that I should do something to try to get my army painted, so instead of actually painting some of it myself(though i do that every once in a while), I sent some models to Thomas Reidy aka Goatboy over at Full of Monkey Designs

Once again, I did NOT paint this.

Shoddy MS paint skills, perhaps someone fluent in photoshop could do a good job of cropping or rotating it. Looks like the text says orcs and goblins to me, but that is definitely not the current OG cover.

Anyways, conspiracy time over, does anyone else have any thoughts on this? am I just crazy? or is this perhaps another army book and I can't read clearly?

Few Promises...

Alright, well I more or less finished a Wolf Guard and a Jump Wolf Priest aka super chaplain. I should be able to take some pics of it sometime before the end of the week, if my camera timeshare goes according to plan. Not much of a post, I know, but soon!
